Cabinets and Cabinetry

Kitchen cabinets and bathroom cabinets are located in areas that are exposed to moisture.  It is important to repair and refinish cabinets regularly in order to extend their useful life.  Cabinet refinishing, refacing cabinets and installing new cabinet handles can make cabinets look better than new.  If cabinets are constantly maintained in good condition they will last as long as the house.

If a portion of a kitchen cabinet or a bathroom cabinet has been damaged beyond repair it is possible to remove the damaged portion and replace it without replacing all of the cabinets.  For example, if a couple of cabinet doors have been ripped off of the kitchen cabinetry and destroyed, one of the good cabinet doors can be replicated at a cabinet shop.

Robinson Construction will repair your existing cabinets or replace them.  We do custom cabinets, kitchen cabinets, bathroom vanities, wall cabinets, storage cabinets, file cabinets, wine cabinets, cabinet lighting and more.

Replacing damaged and outdated cabinets will change the whole character of your house.  The improved looks can be very dramatic and your house will probably smell better too.  Kitchen and bathroom cabinets eventually become damp and moldy which produces a smell and a health hazard.  Just getting rid of old, damp, moldy, smelly cabinets can make your home smell fresh and look new again.

Replacing kitchen cabinets or bathroom vanities presents an ideal opportunity to recreate the layout and design of the cabinetry.  The shape, style, size and placement of the cabinetry can be changed and improved upon.  While the original layout may have been adequate, it is possible to make adjustments to suit your individual lifestyle.
